I would love to help you with a custom project; custom projects are some of my favorite to work on! I love designing wedding invitations and other wedding paper goods, birth announcements, new home/address announcements, event/party invitations, whatever your custom paper goods/correspondence needs might be!


Since each project is custom and unique, pricing is handled on an individual basis. Once we talk about your project I will be able to give you a project quote. This quote will include the estimated cost of my design work as well as printing costs based upon size and quantity. I have many printing sources to fit many different budgets, and you and I can work together to create a plan for your custom project that will work for you cost-wise. If you wish to have exclusive use of your design (i.e., I cannot use it for anyone else in the future), an extra fee applies.

I currently bill my expertise at $85/hour.


I love my printers! I have spent a great deal of time finding and building relationships with printers who do impecible work. I can have your project printed using the follwing printing methods:

• digital off-set printing
• silkscreen printing 
• letterpress printing

The cost of each of these different printing methods varies, so let's talk if you want more information on pricing.

Custom Design Process


My completely custom process starts with a consultation either in person, via email, or by phone. I am dying to hear the details about your project! You can show me snippets and pictures of things you love and ideas that get you excited during this step in the process.

During this consultation we will discuss the general and specific aspects of your project.

In the case of wedding paper goods, we can discuss the different items you may need, such as:

• engagement announcements• place cards
• accommodation cards• table cards
• directional cards & maps • menus
• schedule of events • favors/favor tags
• rehearsal invitations• thank you cards
• rehearsal dinner invitations• marriage announcements
• brunch invitations• at home cards
• wedding programs

After this meeting I will have the information I need to prepare a timeline and cost quote based on your quantity, stationery pieces, printing, illustration and other custom details.

for weddings: I recommend that the custom design process should begin 5 to 6 months from your mailing date.

for all other projects: I recommend that the design process should start 1 to 2 months from your mailing date


After you choose to work with me, I will have send over a very simple, straightforward contract for you to review and sign. The contract will lay out all the details of the project we have discussed as well as the project timeline. This contract is really friendly and rather light hearted, but it does protect both of us from misunderstandings.

Along with a signed copy of the contract, a 50% deposit is due to commence work on your project. I will invoice you for the 50% deposit which is payable by check or PayPal (additional 3% fee applies for PayPal payments).


After I receive your signed contract and deposit I will get to work creating your designs! I will present one to three design options (depending on what we have discussed), emailed to you as a pdf proof for your review. Then I would love to hear your feedback and have you identify any changes you want to make or new ideas you may wish to incorporate.

If the initial proof does not require changes I will have you clearly state that the proof is approved and attach the approved proof via email.

If changes are required, I will make any changes we discuss, and you will receive a 2nd pdf proof for an approval. Typically I budget for about 2-3 rounds of revisions and proofs for a project.

Please review your proofs carefully and note all necessary revisions very clearly. Also proofread for accuracy. Please proofread very carefully as any additional changes after an approved pdf draft proof will be billed at $25 per additional proof. Furthermore, I cannot be held responsible for mistakes or errors after the files have been sent to press.

Once you have approved your final proof your remaining 50% payment will be due. Upon receipt of final payment, I will send your project to the printer.


Printing time varies from a couple of days to up to 5 weeks depending on the print type and printer. Please plan on an additional 5-7 business days for shipping transit time as well.
